Our Team

At The Mundelein Animal Hospital, many members of our staff have been with us for many years. We’re really proud of that—it makes us a true family veterinary practice. It allows for consistency of care and ensures your satisfaction because your veterinarian and staff will really get to know you and your pets.

Our goal is to provide the best possible health care your pet deserves. We emphasize education and preventative medicine to help keep your pet healthier longer. Our commitment to you is education; your education and involvement in the health care needs of your pet, and our training and education in new techniques and treatment.

Team member Ty at Mundelein Animal Hospital

Ty, Commander in Chief Kitty

Ty began working at Mundelein Animal Hospital in May of 2016. We estimate he was born sometime between the years 2005-2007. Ty was a street fighter before finding his way to an animal hospital in Thiensville, WI. He spends his days lounging by the printer, waiting for belly rubs, and armpit scratches. He makes multiple laps around the hospital making sure everything is running on schedule, and that his meals are prepared properly. Ty often takes his afternoon naps laying in any sunny spots he can find.

Dawn at Mundelein animal hospital

Dawn, Hospital Manager

Dawn started working for the Mundelein Animal Hospital in the kennel in 1990 while she was starting her grooming business Pets & Things located in Wauconda. Shortly after she began working for the Mundelein Animal Hospital she became a technician Assistant. In 1996 she sold her grooming business and took on the role as the hospital manager at Mundelein.

Dawn loves working at the Mundelein Animal Hospital and being a part of the entire process of caring for furry, scaled, feathered, and shell family members. When Dawn is not at work she enjoys hanging out with family and friends. She is owned by her 8lbs Yorkie named Sophie, whose outlook in life is: “Best thing ever!”
