Veterinarians at Mundelein Animal Hospitall
Dr. Sarah Mateles graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, and practiced in the Chicago suburbs before joining Mundelein Animal Hospital in 2011. Prior to vet school, Dr. Mateles worked as an environmental engineer and she holds a B.S. degree from M.I.T. and a master’s degree from University of California-Berkeley in that field. She is married and has two sons, who keep her quite busy when not at work. The family shares their home with Daphne, a cattle dog mix, two cats, Sebastian and Max, and also a bearded dragon, Fred. Dr. Mateles is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
